Product Characteristic
Sulfonated Asphalt Sodium is a proven extensively used drilling fluid additive with many fine properties.
Oil asphalt is basal raw material.
It appears brown in easy breakable pieces or fluidized powder.
Its density is 0.98g/cm3 - It's partly water soluble partly oil soluble for every kind of drilling fluid.

Resinated Lignite is a kind of drilling fluid filtration reducer composed by sulfonated phenol-formaldehyde resin and sulfonated lignite, and can be used together with sulfonated asphalt, sulfonated tannin etc.
Being heat and salt resistant at the same time, it is one of the ideal products for high temperature and deep well mud systems.
Application
Resinated Lignite is a kind of copolymer contains hydroxyl, carbonyl, methyl, sulfonic acid base, nitriles and some other functional groups, and is made by grafting copolymerization and sulfonation.
The main function is to reduce filtration loss, but it can also reduce viscosity at the same time.
Resinated Lignite is heat-resistant because it draws sulfonic group into benzene ring unit, and the benzene ring is linked with carbon atoms.
Owing to the introducing of sodium sulfonate SO3NA in benzene hydroxyl, it strengthens the hydration, which thus results in fine solubility.
