TBSI is the methylamine accelerate agent, it can not produce the carcinogenic material as NS.

Comparing with secondary Amine, Sulfonamide and NS, it has the coking security, slower vulcanizing speed, higher tensile modulus, smooth vulcanization.

better dynamic property and lower heat for the vulcanized rubber, TBIS is an excellent accelerate agent, it is dosage is similar to the other sulfonamides;

Application: The vulcanizing property, storage stability and physical mechanical property in SBR, the results show that its vulcanizing speed it similar to TBBS, coking ability is better than TBSS, CZ and TMTD.

Being vulcanized for 4hrs later and in 150℃, the retention of 300% elongation of the vulcanized rubber with TBIS is higher than 70%, but TBSS is less than 60%, In 4hrs and the heat air with 100℃, the coking time is 21 mins, but TBBS and CZ is 11 mins and 8mins.

TBIS will have a better anti-curing reversion and anti-thermal oxidative-aging for vulcanized rubber, if it is used with the other accelerate agents together, it is suitable for all kinds of the universal rubbers and rubber products, especially for the vulcanizing system of EPDM, and it has a outstanding hydrolysis resistance.
