Working principle

Burner releases quantities of heat, which is absorbed by water wall, water then boils and vaporizes, and produces steam into steam drum for separation.

After separation, saturated steam gets into superheater, and continue to absorb heat of top chamber, horizontal flue and rail flue via radiation and convection, and make super- heated steam meets the required working temperature.

Classification

According to the difference of fuel, steam boiler can be classified as oil fired steam boiler, gas fired steam boiler and coal fired steam boiler.

According to the structure, it can be classified as vertical steam boiler and horizontal steam boiler.

There is usually singe or double return vertical structure for small steam boiler, and three return horizontal structure for large steam boiler.
