Petroleum Drilling Tool Reversing Joint - China

1)Overview: ZDM drill rig reversing spear is a special tool

for reversing operation of drill rigs stuck in the well.

With the application of the reversing joint, the safety

joint is unnecessary for the drill rig to finish the safe

reversing.

And it also enjoys the advantage of a lower cost

over the die collar without causing any fracturing.

2)Structure and principle: It is made up of the spear body,

expanding mandrel and expanding bucket sleeve (See

Structural Drawing).

The upper part of the spear is right-

hand (left-hand) thread of drill stem joint.

The spear body

is connected with the expanding mandrel by the thread.

The

expanding bucket sleeve covers the outer cone of the

expanding mandrel, at the lower part of which there is a

guiding cone to facilitate the interlocking of expanding

bucket sleeve and the joint thread.

The expanding bucket

sleeve will tightly hold the fish under the lifting tension

force.

If the upper drill rig is right-hand threaded, so

shall be the upside part of the tool.

3)This product is designed and manufactured in accordance

with relevant national standard requirements on the oil

industry.
