UHWM PE AND HDPE sliding fenders

Sliding strips and plates made of Polyethylene are a superior alternative to for example timber and other facing materials as a protective cover for different constructions.

They have many applications in waterway, harbour, Wharf constructions, Pontoons, Pier heads and on composite fenders.

The Polyethylene is especially useful when low-friction contact during docking and mooring is needed.

The Polyethylene does not decay or rot and will not easily splinter or crush.

For these fender strips Xinxing Chemcial can offer the following two grades of Polyethylene:

HD-PE: High Density Polyethylene

UHMW-PE: Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene

Xinxing Chemical manufacture these sliding fenders in dimensions to any requirements from the customer.

Beside that we can machine the strips, drill and curved them.

We can supply thicknesses from 10mm to 500 mm.

Xingxing chemical is manufacturer of UHMW-PE (Ultra High Moleculair Weight Polyethylene).

This material is commonly used for marine and port construction applications, for example:

• low resistance sliding pads on fender panels

• low resistance slinding panels for bridge and pier protection

• corner protection for offshore structures, berths and other marine facilities

The panels are available in various sizes (made to order) and colours.

As a result, these panels can also be used for (limited) navigational purposes.

Xinxing Chemical manufactures the UHMW-PE panels in several qualities, for example:

• regenerate (typically in black/multicoloured)

• virgin (available in a number of colours)

• anti static - specifically for hazardeous areas, eg LNG terminals

• UV-stabilised

• UHMW-PE panels in 2-layers

The UHMW-PE panels are always custom made, and can be supplied with countersunk holes and chamfers (as per customers specification).

Xinxing Chemical UHMW-PE is made in accordance with the latest DIN EN ISO standards.
