This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not
be issued. We have a requirement for one brand name or equal Street Sweeper
Schwarze A7000 mounted on a new 2007 Sterling SC8000 cab over chassis to be
delivered on 19 Mar 2007 to Fort Riley, KS 66442. Their is one Contract line.
It is: (0001) Sweeper, Street, brand name or equal Schwarz model A7000 mounted
on new 2007 Sterling SC8000 cab over chassis with 215 hp Cummins diesel engine
and a 33,000 GVW cab-over , to include the following options; 115 hp tubo
auxiliary engine, standard sweeping hand, dual gutter brooms, power tilt, GEO
gutter broom extension over-ride, stainless steel hopper (7 cubic yard
useable), stainless steel hopper screens, hopper sound suppression, 8 inches
head hose on spring boom , hopper dump switch in-cab, magnet bar 87 inches self
dumping. dust suppression: standard 250 gallon with additional 350 gallon (600
gallons total), water tank low level alarm and indicator, additional front
spray bar. Lighting: rear strobe with guard, LE D flush mount strobes (2) front
and (4) rear. Your price shall be FOB destination. Contract will be FFP(Firm
Fixed Price). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14
effective on November 22, 2006. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small
business. The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a size standard of 750
employees. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to
make payment by My Invoice or other Electronic means. You must be registered
in the CCR(Central Contractor Registration) (http://www.ccr.gov/) and
registration in ORCA(Online Representations and Certifications Application
https://orca.bpn.gov/) is recommended. Award shall be made to the best
value; technical, warranty, past performance and price quote. You shall submit
commercially available literature on your unit that demonstrates that all of
