This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional
information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will
not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F3Z3908011A001; this
solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-23 and Defense DCN 20080124. The associated
Standard Classification (SIC) is 5169. The North American Industry
Classification System is 454319 and the business size standard is $6.5M.. The
Federal Supply Class (FSC) is L002. This solicitation is 100% small business
set aside. The government intends to solicit and award this purchase order
for the following item:
CLIN 0001: Services, nonpersonal: Contractor will furnish all labor, tools,
materials, and transportation to perform initial service of 150-LB halon
wheeled unit and annual inspection. Repressurize as needed after halon
settles (on-site). Qty 23 Each
CLIN 0002: Halon 1211; needed for servicing 23-150LB firebottles. Qty 3450 LB

Contractor must be able to respond to the 860th AMXS service area on Travis
Air Force Base California within 30 minutes of notification to repressurize
firebottles when needed after the initial fill.

FOB is Travis Air Force Base. The following provisions or clauses apply to
this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR
52.212-1, Instruction to Offers-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation-Items
paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows: Only one award will
be made to the lowest price acceptable offeror who meets the government
requirement and can complete the entire project NLT 1 Mar 2008. FAR 52.212-
4-Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any
resultant Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5-Dev Contract Terms and
