59--Xceedium Remote Access GateKeeper Appliance Part # XG-50i, with warranty. (OB1931559) (2007-10-04)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will
not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. The provisions
at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerci al Items and FAR 52.212-4,
Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract
Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders-
Commercial Items, apply. The Government requires offerors to include a
completed co py of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and
Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The solicitation is issued
as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Requirements Description is as follows:

Delivery shall be FOB destination to Fort Detrick, Maryland by 15 November
2007. The contractor shall extend to the government the full coverage of
commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available. This will be a
Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Q uotes shall address all requirements in this
combined synopsis/solicitation, and shall provide clear evidence of
understanding and the ability and willingness to comply with the Governments
requirement. Failure to address a specification/requirement will be
construed by the government as inability to meet the need, or the offerors
taking exception to it. The Government anticipates awarding one Contract
resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror
in accordance with the E valuation Criteria listed below. Quotations will be
evaluated in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart
13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. Award will be made based on the
following evaluation criteria: Evaluation Criteria The Government will award
a contract based on the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer.
Federal Business Opportunity Numbered Note 1. applies as this is a Small
Business Set-Aside. The Government reserves the right to award a Contract
without discussions. All interested, responsible, firms should submit their
proposal no later than October 1, 2007, 3:00 p.m. EDT, to Army Contracting
