This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes
the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4427-07-Q-0004;
this solicitation is a request for quotation. The North American Industry
Classification System (NAICS) code is 512240. The Federal Supply Class (FSC)
is WO77. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7389. This request
for quotation consists of the following Provide recording studio, control
room, and all recording and editing equipment necessary to record, mix down,
edit and produce a master CD/DVD (compact disk/digital video disk) of the
session to be readily used for professional duplication. The government will
provide two hard drives (one for backup) that are compatible with the studio

The recording session will be from Feb 8-11 (tracking), Feb 22-25 (tracking),
Mar 5-9 (mixing), and Mar 19th (mastering) 2007 from 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM each
day. Government will provide sound engineer. Studio locations must be within
200 mi of Travis AFB; the following provisions and/or clauses apply to this
acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR
52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -
Commercial Items; paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows:
technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement by
providing the minimum equipment requirements, and price.

Technical capability is more important than price.
