This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared
in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes
the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ);
quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote.
The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at
http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information
required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government
intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified
Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This procurement is a total
small-business setaside. NASA/MSFC has a requirement for High Speed video
cameras. NASA is looking to procure two (2) Listed are the minimum
specifications that high speed video cameras must meet: Color 1280x1024 CMOS
Sensor, with Built-In 5" LCD Display and Compact Flash Memory Card Slot. Runs
Off 4 "D" Cell Batteries or 110 volt ac adaptor. IRIG In, NTSC Video Out.
Sealed Case, Splash-Proof Std. Memory = 1,022 Frames at Full Res. & 17,472
Frames at 320x240 Res. expand memory to permit500 frames per second, 640x480
resolution, and a duration of 25 seconds. Includes Camera, AC Adaptor, 256
MByte Compact Flash Card w/ Reader, USB-2 Download/Control Cable, Neck Strap,
and Fastec Motion Measure + includes Software to edit video. Please also
advise if a credit is given for these two (2) old high speed film cameras.

541137, SN 6087 The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in
effect through FAC 05-05. The NAICS code and the small business size standard
for this procurement is 333315 and 500 employees. The Quoter shall state in
their quotation their business size status for this procurement. All
qualified (authorized distributors) responsible businesses may submit a
quotation which shall be considered by this Agency. Delivery to MSFC,AL is
required within 30-days after receipt of the order (ARO). Delivery shall be
FOB-Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is D0-C9. Quotations
for the item(s) described above may be mailed,faxed or submitted
electronically to the identified point of contact, and shall include:
solicitation number, FOB destination to MSFC/Huntsville, AL, proposed delivery
schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer
identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms,
and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encourage

Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. If the end
product(s) quoted is other than domestice end product(s) as defined in the
clause entitled "Buy America Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and
shall list the country of origin. The Representations and Certifications

Selection and award will be made (on an aggregate basis) to the lowest priced
technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined at
the sole discretion of the Government, based on the information submitted by
the quoters. The quoters shall provide description(s) in sufficient detail to
show that the product(s) quoted meets or exceeds the Governments minimum
