The requirement is for 500 each to be delivered within 110 days with any
balance to be delivered at a rate of 250 each every 30 days thereafter.
Shipping locations within the Continental United States are to be specified in
each delivery order. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which
shall be considered. See Note 26. This solicitation is for an Indefinite
Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO). The solicitation will be available on the
internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on it's issue date of 13 March
2008. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. This procurement
is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. Various increments solicited from:
500 to 999 each; 1000 to 1499 each; 1500 to 1999 each; 2000 to 2499 each; and
2500 to 2999 each. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the
contract period one time at the discretion of the Government. The total
duration (base year plus option year) shall not exceed two years. Offerors
must quote pricing for each increment for each year. Failure to do so may
result in rejection of the offer. The quantity to be ordered and the ship
sites will be specified at the time of award on delivery orders issued. While
price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award
decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance
and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
