Furnish and deliver to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District,
Cape Cod Canal, Buzzards Bay, MA sixty (60) Roadway Lighting Fixtures similar
or equal to Luminaire K820-HGSH with KPL20 Plumbizer. The lamp shall be 175
watt metal halide and the lampholder certified for outdoor use rated for
1500w, 600v and 4KV pulse rated. The lens shall be made of #9000 clear
borosilicate glass (fully annealed). The hydro form reflector shall be made of
#3002-0 aluminum alloy with a minimum thickness of .051. The ballast shall
be C.S.A. certified and/or U.L. listed Skeleton Type, Class H (180 degree
Celsius) minimum. The cast housing shall consist of heavy grade A319 cast
aluminum with an opening in the op that is tapped by means of a CNC to accept
a 1-1/4 NPT external threaded nipple. A decorative body with a bug shield is
required. A leveling device to allow for the vertical plumbing of the fixture
is also required. All internal wiring and connections shall be completed. All
exposed external hardwar e and fixtures shall be stainless steel aluminum
alloy. Internal fasteners shall be stainless steel or zinc coated steel. The
color shall be Silverbright. The estimated cost of this procurement is
between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be av ailable on or about
16 November 2006. Prospective contractors are required to self register their
