Upgrade security monitoring system. (OB1928129) (2007-09-26)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not
be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is
seeking a vendor to bid on all the following items: 1. WRAIR has a requirement
to upgrade the existing security monitor ing system inside Building 503, Silver
Spring, MD. To accomplish this task we require the following items that are
compatible with our existing Bosch system:(a)Replace the cameras inside the
Biosafety Level III suites to allow 360 rotation. This requires a s a minimum:
ten Series 300 NTSC Domes cameras with Parapet roof mounts and remote power
units.(b) Replace the interface module between the cameras and recording system.
This requires: one LTC 8800 Video Input Module w/ 32 inputs per card; one 32
Channel V ideo Interconnect Panel w/cables; one 16 Channel Bilinx Data Interface
Unit; power supplies, wire and hardware. (c) To replace the digital video
recorders to enable real-time playback. This requires: six Bosch Dibos
Rackmounted DVRs with 30 video channels /10 audio channels/32 IP channels
capable of comtrolling Autodone cameras using Bilinx interfaces.(d) Labor and
parts to complete all installations. 2. WRAIR would be available on Friday, 21
Sept 2007 to conduct walk through for interested parties. The lo cation would be
Building 503, Forest Glen Annex, Silver Spring, MD 2094. Interested parties can

Equipment can be brand name or equal. If quoting equal, provide specificatins
with quo te. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. W81XWH-07-T-0391
is issued by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers
must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The
solicitation document and incorporated P rovisions and Clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or
individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor
Registration (CCR).
