16 -- Manufacture of Floorboards for KC-135 Aircraft (OB1846398) (2006-12-16)

The requirement is for the manufacture of floorboards for the KC-135 aircraft.
This is a follow-on effort to contract F34650-02-D-0002. The models are
Speckled Trout C, D, E (E is being phased out from the inventory), R, and T
(T.O.1C-135-6CF-1). The floors in a KC-135 aircraft have over 250 different
floorboard part numbers for 27 different models and types and each individual
order for floorboards will have different tail numbers. Floorboards are
composed of exterior grade 5-ply Douglas fir plywood, per commercial product
specifications. Unserviceable floorboards will be used as templates for
reproduction of new floorboards for obtaining exact fit. The basic period of
performance is 1 Apr 2007 through 31 Mar 2008, and four one-year options ending
31 Mar 2012. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for this requirement for the
basic period, CLIN 0001, is 49,500 square feet (SF); the BEQ for option year I,
CLIN 1001, is 51,000 SF; the BEQ for option year II, CLIN 2001, is 56,000 SF;
the BEQ for option year III, CLIN 3001, is 59,500 SF; the BEQ for option year
IV, CLIN 4001, is 59,500 SF. The required delivery is based on urgency; from 5
days for urgent deliveries to 23 days for routine deliveries after receipt of
(ARO) delivery order. All floorboards, used as templates, shall be picked up
and returned to Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145-3032. Newly manufactured
floorboards shall be delivered to Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145-3032. All
responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be
