GENERAL a. Description of work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to aerially apply pelleted herbicide to approximately 8,115 acres of rangeland as will be specified on the Statement of Work. b. Location: Work under this Contract is located in Dona Ana, Eddy, Hidalgo, and Luna Counties, State of New Mexico. a. Performance: Work shall commence on approximately 10/01/2005 (to be finalized at the pre-work conference) and completed no later than 30 calendar days after the start date. b. Delivery: Protect products, incorporated into the work, from damage while in transit to the site. Products must be delivered in original unopened containers with manufacturer's name and brand designation and contents legibly indicated. c. Storage: Provide temporary storage facilities for products. Storage shall comply with the manufacturer's instructions. The storage area shall permit access for inspection and handling. d. Handling: The Contractor shall load and unload products protecting them from damage until installation on the project.
