Vibratory Stress Relieve System Equipment Description 1: HARDWARE- A.
Cabinet with Control Console 1 ea.: Rollaround to store all loose accessories.
Heavy duty industrial construction, lockable doors, lockable casters.
Permanent mounted transformer of 480 3 Phase input having NEMA Type 4
enclosure with overload protection and min 15 to max 20 foot power cord.
Console to be top mounted with flip up door having NEMA Type 4 protection
closed and NEMA Type 3 protection open. Console to house computer/display
monitor. Console to have separate controls for manual adjustment of on/off
power to vibrator, RPM, and manual/auto mode operation and connection ports
for the accelerometer/transducer cables, all being located and
protected by the flip up door. Construction of cabinet and console
to be sufficient to prevent electricalinterference to the computer and related
functions. B. Computer with touch screen Display 1 ea: Computer to have
an operating system of minimum Windows 98 with sufficient Ram and hardrive
capacity to run the software provided with minimal operating complexity and
trouble. 2 USB ports accessible next to display to allow connection to a
printer, network, and/or offline phone and also protected by flip up door.
Touch screen display to be color capable and of industrial hardened
construction. C. Accelerometer/Transducer 1 ea: To be easily clamped to
workpiece and have miniaturized FET preamp that sends a low impedance signal
to the computer. To be calibrated from linear to min. of 50gs. Connectors to
be of heavy industrial and/or military-grade construction. D.
Accelerometer Cable 1 ea: Min. of 15 foot length and of heavy industrial
and/or military-grade construction. E. Vibrator and Motor 1 ea.: Vibrator
to have 2 sets of 2 ea mounting feet located 90 degrees from each other
with hardened steel inserts. Vibrator to be driven from 10 to 8,000 rpm and
controllable to within .02% of the entire rpm range and have an adjustable
unbalance over a 20:1 range within 15 seconds time. Motor to be DC electrical
power with min 2 hp, brushless,and of heavy industrial and/or military-grade
construction. F. Clamps 2 sets ea.: 1 set of 2 ea for attaching the vibrator
of min 4 inch opening and having machined bolt points that match with
hardened inserts of the vibrator. 1 set of 2 ea. for attaching the
accelerometer/transducer to the workpiece with minimum 3 opening and heavy
duty construction. G. Load Cushions 4 ea : Min size of 2 x 4 x 6 inches
of material to sufficiently isolate workpiece from table. H. Operating
Instructions 1 set ea: Hardcopy to include any maintenance requirements and
compatible with software file version. 2: SOFTWARE- A. Computer control to
be operator friendly, touch screen read out with printer output and capable
to output data offline for transfer over over phone line. Derived data to
include plotting of the workpiece acceleration and vibrator power input vs.
rpm. Individual readout for tracking of work piece acceleration,vibrator power
input,and rpm. Computer to control vibrator from 10 to 8,000 rpm within .02%
of the entire rpm range and adjusting the unbalance over a 20:1 range
within 15 seconds time. Computer to run the vibrator thru a series of
passes to sufficiently achieve the transfer of the condition of the
workpiece from its metastable toits stable state. Computer to record data
for realtime readout and for retrievable historical archiving. B.
Operating Instructions: To include any maintenance requirements and compatible
with hardcopy. C. Updating: Minimum of 1 year at no charge from date of
onsite training to include min. 14 hours of support. 3: SERVICES- A.
Startup & Training: Onsite training of operating personnel for min of 5
hours with travel expenses paid at th e Government rate. B. Review: For
consultation of historical data for min. of 1 year 4: Warranty-
Minimum of 2 years against defects in workmanship and/or material from
date of shipment.
