Berhy Dates This is a late ripening variety and is not resistant to moisture.
This type is one of the important cultivars in Khuzestan province.
In addition to Khuzastan they are also cultivated in Qasre shirin, Sumar, Dehloran, Bandarlenge and Borazjan.
Its kharak contains enough sugar; therefore, the kharak and the rotab are consumed in a large content in palm-prone areas.
Berhy fruit is edible from the stage kharak even when the most of it tastes asrtingint.
In terms of quality and taste, it is very delicious when it is fresh.
The fruit is yellow in this stage.
The rotab is amber and in the last stage it ranges from amber to reddish-brown in color.
The date is almost spherical, with an average weigh of 8 grams, soft texture and high skin thickness, flesh to pit ratio is 7.77 - The pit is almost spherical, bright gray in color and has medium adhesion to the fruit but warhead adhesion to the fruit is low.
Kharaks ripen in late-august, but harvesting the quite ripe fruit is in late-September.
