Water jet cut shims Waterjet cutting allows for quick turnaround, rapid gasket manufacturing and tool-less flat cut gasket prototyping.

Typically, water jet cutting shortens lead times and helps customers get out of a “rut” before the gasket design is processed for die cutting or molding.

Small batches of shims can be manufactured in a few days using stock material and CAD files.

Die Cut Shims Shims and gaskets can be cut in a variety of ways.

The most common type of die used to cut elastomers is a steel rule die.

Ruler dies are made by laser cutting customized geometries into engineered wood; then a steel ruler (a steel strip with a knife edge) is pressed into the laser cut slot.

Steel rule molds are relatively inexpensive and quick to manufacture.

Molded GasketsCustom Molded Gaskets Most molded silicone rubber parts are manufactured from customer 3D models using the injection molding process.

LSR injection molding allows for a wide range of hardnesses and much shorter cycle times than compression molding.

Custom Silicone Sheets With in-house molding, stock silicone compounds and water jet cutting, SHOUJIA is able to mold custom silicone sheets to meet some of the “finer” customer requirements.

Custom molded rubber sheets are shipped to the customer for cutting, or SHOUJIA typically water jet cuts to produce custom geometries based on CAD files provided by the customer.
