The institute is a high-tech enterprise in researching, developing and producing auto-control bioreactor (fermenter), auto-control phototroph bioreactor, quartz glass reactors, microalgae production equipment, Photosynthetic Bacteria and Engineering microalgae(Haematococcus pluvialis, Chlorella, Dunaliella salina and so on), which is also one of the early few early engaged in research and development of marine biological engineering technology professional enterprises in China and awarded the title of high-tech enterprise of Shandong Province.
