China Work Visa Requirement:

1 - Valid Passport:

Your signed passport must be valid and with sufficient blank visa pages for any visa stamps (Note: passport page 22, 23, 24 are not visa pages, and can not be used for visas).

The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry for the visa you are applying for.

If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new passport.

Note: You need to send your original passport to obtain the visa.

2 - Complete Application:

Download, print, fully complete, and sign one copy of the China application form.

3 - Photographs:

You must provide one piece of passport photograph.

4 - Work Permit & Foreign Expert's License:

Submit a copy of visa notification issued by the Chinese government, and a work permit for foreigners issued by the Chinese Labor Ministry or a Foreign Expert's License issued by the Chinese Foreign Expert Bureau.

5 - Order Form:

Download, print, and fully complete the order form.

6 - Payment Methods:

You may pay by personal check, business check or money order, made payable to: Visa Express.

Here a good news to foreigners in China to get visa extended: If you want to stay longer in China, you can have my visa done without leaving China mainland.

If you are holding an L visa, technically you can have it extended twice, with 30 days of each time.

If you want to stay longer even than that, you can have your China visa converted to an F visa through a Chinese visa agent.

If you are holding an F visa, you can simply have it extended for another 3, 6 or 12 months.

The visas issued when you are already in China mainland have NO limitation of each stay.

It means if you wish, you can stay as long as your visa duration without leaving.

The entry (ies) is for your expected or unexpected travel.

You don't have to leave.

F-visa holders can stay in China mainland without leaving for consecutive one year, which is calculated from last entry date.
