In July 2012, the anaerobic granular sludge added to the project for the first time by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group was disintegrated and lost in 2 months due to the water quality problem of landfill leachate.

Our engineers determined the type of granular sludge and the debugging plan for the project after one week of experiments, and the UASB was operating normally after 15 days.

This process uses pretreatment + UASB + two-stage AO-MBR + nanofiltration + reverse osmosis.

The effluent meets the requirements of Table 2 of GB16889-2008 ( COD<100mg/L, NH4-N<25mg/L).

It can be directly discharged and used as recycled water; The concentrated water produced by membrane treatment adopts evaporation crystallization, and the remaining sludge is dehydrated and then enters the incineration system, effectively solving the problem of concentrated water and sludge.

Process characteristics

1 - UASB has low energy consumption and high efficiency, and its combination with two-stage AO-MBR has a good removal effect on organic matter and ammonia nitrogen.

2 - Two-stage AO-MBR is the key to system denitrification, various forms of nitrogen are converted into nitrogen, effectively reducing the total nitrogen in the effluent.
