Instructions : Poly(DL-lactide-co-glycol ide) (PDLGA) is

produced from lactic acid and glycolic acid. It is non-toxic

and has excellent biodegradability, biocompatibility, film

or capsule forming ability. PDLGA is widely used in

pharmaceutical, medical engineering materials and modern

industrial fields. In the United States, PDLGA has been

approved by the FDA and is formally included in the United

States pharmacopoeia as pharmaceutical materials.

PDLGA is a amorphous polymer. The glass transition

temperature (Tg) of PLGA is 40 - 60 °C. It has been widely

used in medical surgical sutures, anti-adhesion membrane,

tissue engineering scaffolds and so on. The degradation rate

of PDLGA increases with the increase of GA proportion.

Different types of PDLGA can be produced using

differentmonomer ratio . For example, PDLLGA 75:25 indicates

that the polymer consists of 75% DL-lactic acid and 25%

glycolic acid.

The degradation products of PDLGA are lactic

acid and glycolic acid, so they do not have toxic side

effects when used as the pharmaceutical and biological

materials. PDLGA has been widely used in biomedical fields,

such as medical anti-adhesion membrane, skin graft, stitched

wound, injectable microcapsules, microspheres, implants,

scaffolds for tissue engineering.

    Our company occupies an area of 10, 000 meter square with a total investment of 33.55 million yuan. The foundation of these two research centres has been promoting the application of Medical biodegradable polymer materials in the medicine field and continuing to promote the pace of industrialization, with the goal of achieving the integration of production and studying and research.
