Colorless orthorhombic crystal, amorphous

white powder in appearance, gravity of

4.50(15℃), good dispersion, stable chemical

properties, not dissolvable in dilute acid,

dilute alkali, organic solvent, or water, but

dissolvable in hot concentrated sulfuric.

Barium sulfate is the inorganic compound
