Calcined alumina is classified by Na2O content and particle size
distribution.
They can be delivered as unground crystalline agglomerates
or ground to various degrees, or superground to the ultimate crystal.
The Na2O level of these calcined alumina effect the electrical and
thermal properiesand shrinkage uniformity.
So usually, normal Na2O calcined alumina is used in the manufacture of abrasive and polishing products, electrical procelains, high mechamical strngth porcelains, kilm furniture, catalyst carriers, ceramic tiles, whiteware and sanitary wares.
And low Na2O is suitable for use in electrical and electronic ceramics.
