White Fused Alumina(Corundum) is made from high-quality aluminum oxide
powder by fusing and refining in electric furnace refining, processed
with crusher by dressing, magnetic-separation and screening, the
crystallized ingot become various grit No for different applications
such as abrasives and refractory materials.
It has the performance of
high purity, self-sharpening, acid and alkali resistance, high
temperature thermal stability and lower toughness.
It's hardness is
slightly higher than brown fused alumina.
The abrasives made of it are
suitable for blasting and making bonded abrasives for grinding carbon
copper and high speed steel.
It can be also used as superior refractory
materials.
