As the world's largest spokeless/shaftless Ferris Wheel (recognized by the Guinness World Record in 2018), with rotary diameter of 125m and total height of 145m, the Ferris wheel named Eye of Bohai Sea is 10m higher than world-renowned "London Eye".

Built on the Bailang River Bridge, the wheel was equipped with 36 spherical gondolas all able of carrying 10 persons, offering a bird’s eye view of the Bohai Gulf estuary during the 30-minute trip.

Some 4, 600 tonnes of steel were used to create the latticed tube of the giant wheel’s rim, dubbed as the "dragon’s spine", as well as its mammoth supports.
