Its aluminum silicate fiber core helps reduce heat transfer, while the laminated aluminum foil facing improves handling strength and limits water vapor penetration.

The product is suitable for ventilation ducts, oil-fume exhaust ducts, high-temperature exhaust pipes and chemical exhaust systems in commercial, public and industrial buildings.

In the specified duct assembly, 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm insulation thicknesses provide fire resistance periods of 60, 90 and 120 minutes respectively.
