Applique work is a traditional patchwork that has a long history in Orissa.
Applique work is an art of needlework where desired representations are created by attaching the pieces to cloth preferably in contrast color.
It is normally dependent on some bright colors that are red, white, black, yellow, green, and blue, etc.
