1 - Cummins diesel generator intake and exhaust system

* Use hangers or brackets to support exhaust pipes and superchargers

* Bellows are strictly prohibited to act as elbows and to compensate for installation errors

* For units above 200KW, use stainless steel bellows above 610mm

* The horizontally laid exhaust pipe shall have a slope of 0.3-0.5%, the slope shall be outdoors, and the lower limit shall be provided with a blowdown valve

* When configuring the engine exhaust pipe, it is forbidden to use a pipe with a diameter smaller than the exhaust port

* If the exhaust pipe must be bent upward, a drain plug should be installed at the starting point of the rise

* When installing multiple generator sets, special attention should be paid to the shared exhaust pipe

2 - Cummins diesel generator cooling system

(1) The air inlet should be set at the generator end or both sides of the generator, and the area should be 2.2 times larger than the area of ​​the water tank.

(2) The area of ​​the air outlet should be 1.5 times the area of ​​the water tank, and shutters and windshield walls should be installed at the air outlet.

(3) Use a flexible air duct flange to connect with the water tank to absorb the displacement and vibration of the unit and prevent noise transmission.

(4) When the ambient temperature is higher than the design temperature, consider reducing the power.

(5) The hot air must be discharged to the outside of the machine room through the air duct, and the cross-sectional area of ​​the air duct should be smoothly transitioned from small to large.

If there is a bend in the air duct, a deflector must be installed to reduce pressure loss.
