Process introduction

Full tail sand direct slurrying cementing filling process

refers to the filling method that taking whole grain-grade

tail sand without classification and desliming as the

filling aggregate, to be pumped to vertical (or horizontal)

sand silo from concentration plant for natural

sedimentation, and be conveyed to mix with a certain

percentage of cementing material and water after metering,

and then be filled into underground worked-out section.

“Slurry like paste” cementing filling system designed by

our company for Shandong Dongping Hongda Iron Ore Company,

takes concentration plant tail sand as the raw material,

uses alkali-activated cementing material as the cementing

material.

Full tail sand in vertical sand silo can be made

into slurry through wind and water linkage activation, and

be conveyed to electromagnetic flow meter for metering

through pipeline; cementation powder stored in material silo

will be automatically metered and proportioned by screw

conveyor and screw metering scale; the filling material will

be stirred in high speed by high concentration stirred tank;

the prepared filling slurry will flow naturally to the

filling area through filling drilling hoe and laying

pipeline.

Technical innovation

Through drawing lessons from bushy technology at home and

abroad, the company upgrades the vertical sand silo

technology to shorten sedimentation time of full tail sand,

and mix them with cementing material when the concentration

is about 50%.

The covering area of this process is

relatively small, and the overflow water will flow back to

the plant.

The company achieves full tail sand utilization, to

reduce the pressure of tailing.

The company adopts the new alkali-activated

cementing material, to solve the problem of degradation in

water and no-cementation of superfine tail sand.

The company adopts wind pipe cleaning system, to

reduce pipeline flushing water consumption and relieve the

pressure of underground roadway drainage.
