PMH series synchronous motors are high-efficiency motors which meet IEC 60072 mechanical dimensions and mounting points, covering frame sizes from 71 to 315 - Technical advantages such as superior energy-saving effect, low temperature rise, running at various speed, precise and smart control, compact structure, etc.

The motors are widely used for industrial project where need speed variation, high efficiency and size saving.

They are good replacement of asynchronous motors where used for HVAC and pumps, compressors, conveyors, cutting machine and industrial milling equipment.

Lower temperature rise: The temperature rise is around 40-50K, which is obviously lower compared with induction motors.

Motor Structure Details (1) Motor Frame From PMH71 to PMH132, the motor frame is made of aluminum.

From PMH160 to PMH315, the motor frame is made of cast iron.

(2) Terminal Box According to the IEC 60034 standard, the terminal box is installed on the top of the drive end.

The terminal box is fixed to the motor frame using 4 cross screws or hex screws, all of which complying with the DIN standard.

One of the screws is made of brass, while the other three are made of galvanized steel with a grade of 8.8 - An earth terminal must be placed inside the terminal box.

The terminal box can be rotated horizontally by 90°, allowing the outgoing wires to be drawn from various directions.

(3) Bearings PJM adopts single-row deep-groove ball bearings to standard motors.

For some types of PMH315 motors, NU roller bearings or angular contact ball bearings are recommended.

(4) Lubrication For frame sizes below 160, the bearings are non-serviceable bearings which do not need regreasing.

For 180-315, the grease volumes added from 25g to 90g.

(5) Oil seals The standard types of bearing oil seals meet IEC request (6) Surface treatment The motor parts are all painted, including the interior of the fan cover and the grooves of the B5/B14 flanges.

The mounting surfaces of the shaft and flange are not painted but protected with anti-rust oil.

The painting process and thickness make the motor suitable for ISO12944 C2 classification.

(7) Vibration All electric motors meets the requirements of class A vibration based on IEC60034-14 standard.
