World’s First Gw Level Perovskite Module Mass Production Line Goes Into Operation

The world’s first gigawatt (GW)-scale perovskite photovoltaic (PV) module mass production line, built by Jidian Solar, has officially begun operations in Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiangsu Province.

As a major provincial project, the facility is expected to produce approximately 1.8 million perovskite PV modules annually at full capacity, marking a significant step toward the large-scale commercialization of perovskite technology and the transition to greener, low-carbon energy solutions.
