Sintered alumina, also referred to as tabular alumina, is made of imported industrial alumina as starting material by fast sintering in super-high temperature shaft kiln.

Its microstructure is featured by closely packed well developed granular corundum crystals with a wide size range and many intra- and intercrystalline pores.

Application

The product is characterized by high purity, low alkali level, high strength, good thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance.

Application

1 - Tabular alumina is an ideal refractory material, can be used as aggregate in all aluminum refractory, or be incorporated into other aluminum unshaped refractory.

2 - Any fused corundum or white corundum can be totally replaced by Tabular Corundum, thus to improve the refractoriness performance.

3 - Also can be widely used in steel, casting, ceramics and other industries.
