Specially: Good toughness, strength and good wearing resistance, at room temperature and 500-600°C, the mechanical properties is almost the same.
Good harden ability.
Use: Used for making various large size drop forging die and trimming die hot extrusion die and mandrill by aluminum alloy sections forging machine.
Heat treatment:
Quench : 830-860°C oil cooling, HRC53-58
Anneal : isothermal annealing heating temperature 760-780°C keep temperature for 4-6hours.
