Key Features of 800kV UHV Transformer The 800kV-Class UHV Power Transformer serves high-capacity AC transmission substations and national backbone grids.

It performs voltage transformation between ultra-high-voltage networks and lower-voltage systems such as 400kV or 220kV according to approved project configurations.

BTW provides project-specific solutions based on the purchaser's system voltage, rated capacity, short-circuit level, insulation coordination, grid regulation requirements, environmental conditions and transportation limitations.

The design maintains partial discharge at or below 100 pC, limits winding temperature rise to 65K and oil temperature rise to 55K.

An integrated smart monitoring system is available as an optional feature.

Applications of 800kV Transformer These transformers are deployed in 800kV UHV transmission projects, long distance power transmission and national electricity infrastructure.
