Circuit Breakers For Mining Applications - Poland

Special Circuit Breakers MAR-WS-15-80 are designed for use

in mine in which there is a supply network 1000V and is

necessary to use 500V devices.

Circuit breaker is

intended for direct starting of mining motors in underground

mines with "a", "b" or "c"

methane explosion hazard and “A” or “B” class explosive coal

dust.

They are suitable

for use in three-phase networks with isolated neutral point

of the transformer.

Four

outflows allow the combination of one to four motors or one

or two of the possibility of

reversion, or a combination of / in the options.

Circuit Breakers to protect against the effects of:

- short circuit,

- load asymmetry,

- overload

- ow insulation resistance of the main circuits,

- short circuits, high resistance and gaps in the control

circuits,

- high resistance grounding

- incorrect phase sequence and voltage asymmetry.

Provide secure control in variety of configurations and the

ability to give a warning

signal before switching on device.

The advantage of a

circuit breaker tripping of

upstream protection signal clarity and operation of the main

circuit contactor.

On display are indicated by LEDs following conditions

security:

- short-circuit outflows,

- overload outflows,

- asymmetrical load of outflows,

- blocking drain leakage circuits,

- central-locking in external auxiliary circuits 24V, 42V

and switching contactors in the

circuits of the main outflow.
