4.1 Global Test: This Test allows
measuring the global leak of each
component/Test piece.
In this case the Test
piece to Be Tested is placed inside a
container, normally named “Test Vacuum
Chamber”.
Then the test chamber is evacuated
and Test pieces are pressurised with helium.
Tracing gas come out from test pieces through
leaks and is detected and measured by Helium
Mass Spectrometer connected to Test Chamber.
