Material and Manufacturing

Bystronic-type tooling starts with high-quality alloy steel such as 42CrMo, selected for strength and resistance to wear.

Through controlled processing and heat treatment, the tooling achieves the hardness and toughness needed for repeated bending operations.

The upper and lower tooling surfaces are ground to precise profile.
