Key Technical Points for Vibration & Seal Protection To reduce mechanical seal damage caused by vibration (applicable to supporting pumps like YCZ65-250B), precision grinding and alignment are critical.

Focus on controlling the fit precision between the shaft, mechanical seal and impeller to eliminate vibration at the source.

Specific requirements are as follows:

- Shaft Precision Inspection: Use a micrometer to check the journals at both ends of the new pump shaft; roundness and cylindricity must be within 0.01mm for proper bearing fit.

The impeller-mounted shaft section requires higher precision, with diameter error not exceeding 0.02mm to avoid impeller wobble and rotational vibration.

- Impeller Installation: Adopt hot-fitting instead of forced hammering—heat the impeller in machine oil to 80℃, fit it onto the shaft shoulder while hot, and let it tighten naturally after cooling.

Secure with double nuts to 25 N•m torque to prevent loosening.

- Mechanical Seal Installation: Ensure the sealing shaft section has Ra0.8 surface roughness, free from scratches and rust.

Apply a thin layer of lubricating oil to the rotating and stationary ring contact surfaces.

Control the sleeve clearance at 0.03-0.05mm (too loose causes wobble, too tight hinders rotation).

- Post-Assembly Testing: Rotate the pump manually to ensure smooth operation without sticking.

After startup, measure vibration speed on the pump casing with a vibration meter; it must not exceed 4.5 mm/s.

Routinely inspect for seal leakage—if dripping increases, check journal wear and impeller tightness.
