The film pendulum impact tester is mainly used to determine the resistance to pendulum impact of materials such as plastic films, sheets, composite films, and metal foils.

These materials are widely used in fields like food and drug packaging bags (such as PE/PP composite films, aluminized films, aluminum - plastic composite films, nylon films, etc.

), paper, and paperboards (such as cigarette - packing aluminized paper, Tetra Pak's aluminum - plastic paper composite materials).

Through this tester, the performance of these materials when facing sudden mechanical stress can be evaluated, providing a scientific basis for material selection and product design.

Technical Parameters

- Impact Energy: Generally 0 - 3J (some devices can be customized to 6J), used to measure the energy consumed by the punch during the impact process.

- Specimen Size: Usually 100mm×100mm or Φ100mm, but the specific size may vary according to testing requirements.

- Specimen Fixture Specifications: Such as Φ60mm, Φ89mm (customizable), used to fix the specimen and ensure its stable position during the test.

- Punch Size: Such as Φ12.7mm, Φ25.4mm (customizable).

The shape and size of the punch have a significant impact on the test results.

- Swing Radius: Generally 200mm, but the specific value may vary depending on the device model.
