Drag Chain Ash Conveyor For Mining Application - Poland

In produced by our company wet drag chain ash conveyor we

incorporate the following solutions:

- shaped fastening of conveyor to the chain without

additional fixing elements - easy assembling and dismantling

- mining coal chains - links are connected with cell

connectors

- conveyor box of welding construction reinforced at the top

and bottom with the hard-steel flat bars

- drive chain wheels with teeth adapted to mesh with

vertical links in the mining chain - wheel design allows

disassembly without removing the drive shaft from the drag

chain ash conveyor

- chains wheels, stretch rolls and chain guiding rolls are

made of steal L35GSM - chain mating surfaces are induction

hardened

- conveyor chain tensioning is carried out by compression

springs or hydraulic cylinders

- top and bottom guiding rolls of chains have the same size

- flexibility with parts exchange

- central lubrication system

- control of drag chain ash conveyor operation by slow

rotation indicator.

For drag chain ash conveyors collecting slag from boilers

with firing grates we also provide slag spreaders and

flexible cover (lid).

Lumps of slag sliding down from crater

of firing grate goes into rotating blades.

Then, in the form

of small pieces, they fall into the water filling drag chain

ash conveyor bed.

There they are getting cool and divide

into smaller pieces.

This solution eliminates appearing big

explosions in drag chain ash conveyor bed.

The space between

spreader and drag chain ash conveyor bed is covered with

special covers (lids), partially submerged in the water

filling drag chain ash conveyor.

Cover elements are

connected to each other very tight.

Thanks to their

flexibility covers are resistant to thermal deformation and

unexpected changes of pressure.

The operating experience shows that the weakest elements of

the conveyor chain are the side locks.

To eliminate this

problem we use our own solution for which we have patent no.

334928 of the Polish Patent Office.
