Scheelite is mainly enriched by floatation separation assisted by

gravity separation.

For fine granule inlay scheelite ore, floatation

separation is used to gain high grade tungsten concentrate.

But for

low grade scheelite tungsten ore with coarse inlay, gravity separation

can be used with its smaller investment and great beneficiation

efficiency instead of floatation separation.

And for this coarse

scheelite ore, floatation separation will make recovery low and high

beneficiation cost.

The tungsten content is low in China and the inlay size is very fine, so floatation separation is the core beneficiation method.

However, the scheelite content is high in some Africa Countries even with the inlay size over 5mm.

And for this kind of scheelite tungsten ore, if th ore is milled to be fine for floatation separation, the recovery will be low while increasing the concentrating cost.

Here gravity separation can be used to recover the coarse scheelite granules lowering the cost of crushing while improving the recovery.

And jig gravertion machine is usually used for this kind of tungsten ore.
