1)Overview: Drilling junk sub is able to run in the well to
get out deciduous gear, broken gear and bullet of the drill
bit left in the well.
It is mainly made up of the body and
the barrel through a welding process.
It is installed
between the drill bit and the drill collar (as near to the
drilling-shut as possible).
When downhole metallic particles
are rushed over the barrel of the sub by the large
displacement, they will sink into the barrel due to the
broadening of the upward backflow passageway of the drilling
fluid and its speed decrease.
Pumping termination shall be
adopted for the fishing of downhole junk with relatively
small granularity, which will sink into the sub drawn by its
own weight.
