Pinion gear shaft is an alloy steel forging.

There are herringbone gears on its axle with medium hard tooth surface.

For convenient maintenance, single row long cylindrical roller bearings without inner ring ribs are used.

Due to the shaft extension, either side of the shaft can be mounted with belt pulleys or chain wheels.
