Product Features

The PTFE coating on the near surface and the hydrophilic coating on the far end provide an extremely low coeffcient of friction, good abrasion performance and excellent bio-compatibility.

The tip end can be shaped and the distal end diameter can be designed to enhance the guidewire penetration.

Stainless steel core wire has strong braced force, excellent push-ability and torque conductivity.

Distal polyurethane containing tungsten cladding for excellent development effect.

A variety of tips flexibility, providing abundant clinicaloptions.

Application Range

0.014in HW™ Controllable Guidewire: The product is intended to facilitate the placement and exchange of balloon dilatation catheters or other therapeutic devices during Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty(PTA)or other intravascular interventional procedures.

The product is not intended for use in the cerebral vasculature.

0.018in HW™ Controllable Guidewire: The product can be torqued to facilitate the selective placement of diagnostic or therapeutic catheters.

This device is intended for peripheral use only, A torque device (pin vise)is included with each wire to facilitate directional manipulation of the guidewire.

Structure Composition

HW™ Controllable Guidewire is composed of a core wire and coating layer, the surface of the proximalend is coated with PTFE, the distal end of the hydrophilic coating, can be equipped with mandrel, torque device.
