AISI 4130 alloy structural steel is a low alloy steel containing chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo) as strengthening elements.

The chemical composition of this steel ranges from 0.80% to 1.10% chromium and 0.15% to 0.25% molybdenum.

Effect of chromium (Cr)
