The typical procedure involves heating the 45CrNiMoVA alloy steel to a specific austenitizing temperature (usually determined based on the material's composition and desired hardness), maintaining the temperature for a sufficient period to ensure uniform heating of the material, followed by controlled cooling (such as air cooling, oil quenching, or stepped cooling) to obtain a martensitic or bainitic structure with appropriate hardness.
