The following is the general machining process of JIS SNCM220 steel plate:

- **Rough machining**: Use milling machines, lathes and other equipment to rough-machine JIS SNCM220 steel plate, remove most of the excess, and leave 0.5-1mm machining allowance for subsequent finishing.

Rough machining can improve machining efficiency and reduce tool wear.

- **Finishing**: According to the precision requirements of parts, semi-finishing and finishing are carried out.

For example, use a grinder for surface grinding or cylindrical grinding to obtain higher dimensional accuracy and surface finish; use a boring machine for boring processing to ensure the dimensional accuracy and position accuracy of the hole.

- **Drilling and tapping**: According to the design requirements of the parts, use a drilling machine for drilling processing, and then use a tap for tapping to process threaded holes for connection.
