1.2344 ESR - Electroslag Remelted H13 Type Steel for Premium Tooling 1.2344 ESR is the electroslag remelted version of the classic Cr-Mo-V hot work tool steel, produced for toolmakers who need cleanliness, isotropy and polish performance beyond the conventional EAF route.

Songshun remelts selected 1.2344 heats (equivalent to AISI H13, JIS SKD61, UNS T20813) and supplies them fully certified worldwide.

What ESR adds to 1.2344:

- Removal of macro-inclusions and reduction of micro-segregation

- Directionally solidified, fine and uniform grain structure

- Markedly better transverse toughness and fatigue strength

- Mirror-polish capability for high-gloss mold surfaces
