After overall quenching of large and complex dies, the core and surface hardness are uniform (58–62 HRC).

- Suitable Cooling Methods: High hardenability can be achieved through oil quenching, air cooling, and vacuum quenching.

GB Cr12Mo1V1 material exhibits minimal heat treatment deformation and good dimensional stability.
